Lou-bou-tin - I’m savouring every syllable of this sexy name. For those of you who have read my last post: Yes, my magic shoes wondrously changed their colour to gold and when I looked at them closely I noticed that they had red soles. ;-)
I’ve always wanted a pair of Louboutins. Let’s be honest which fashion victim doesn’t want to be the owner of at least one pair of these sexy babies? So queen Zahara (or for the realists of you my favourite shop Markentussi) fulfilled my long-cherished wish. Sorry for those of you who had expected romance when I told you my tale;-) But you could actually call the relationship I have with these special shoes quite a romantic one indeed. I love looking at them and in my eyes they are just perfect. And, don’t be surprised, they have a very special spot close to my bed where I can admire them.
So what is it with this brand that women go crazy about it (remember the episode of Germany’s Next Topmodel where one of the models went completely nuts over a pair of the red soled beauties)? Is it the name that makes us want them? The red soles? Or does Louboutin simply stand for gorgeous shoes? I guess it’s a mixture of the three. They are the modern Manolo Blahniks. Oh Carrie Bradshaw, you would understand my passion!
The Bvlgari glasses were a present from the fairy. ;-) But how can it be that a broke girl owns a Marc Jacobs bag and bracelet? Luckily I have a job where I get cheap flight tickets. If you can always buy American designer stuff in the States, it’s way cheaper than anywhere else. Since none of my outfits is complete without something from Mango that’s where I got my light and flowy summer dress. Have fun shopping fellow fashionistas! Share my passion and start walking on red soles! ;-)
